No, this isn't one of those DA journal entry titles people put to get more people to read their entry. It's the real thing: I'm leaving DA.

I used to be obsessed with anime. It was crazy. I'd spent months and months watching it, reading manga, and waiting for episodes to come out. I'd always think about it at school, dream about characters that weren't even real (not to mention I'd get pissed when someone else liked the same character as me), and I'd spend hours drawing and roleplaying. It was to the point where it was all I did and all I thought about. I stopped doing sports and things I loved to do because of it and ALL my inside jokes were about anime. It ruined my life, and for the many years I was into it, I could have been doing something better instead of sitting on my lazy ass. Honestly, if I could, I would go back to the way it was before anime came into my life. At least I had a sense of reality.
This all goes the same to the games I've played and practically lived on. I still LOVE gaming, but I'm not as obsessed. A game is a game; nothing more. It's fun to obsess over for a while, but when it gets to the point where it's unhealthy, you need to snap back into reality. It's something someone just like you made up - it's NOT REAL.

The two main reasons I'm leaving DA are pretty much the reasons PurplePops said she was leaving in her DA entry. #1: I'm done with anime and all of that. DA has been pretty much overruled with it. Everywhere you go it's anime or games, and I'm just not into that anymore. I know I could submit things like photography, but I have other things to do. I don't know, I guess I've matured. #2: I'm sick of the complaining/boy problems/DIARY entries that are meant for ACTUAL diaries and not DA journals that are for talking about artwork, and how people are making DA into a facebook. That's it.

Thanks to all of those people who have favorited my artwork, watched me, and left comments. I really appreciate it. You guys are great. I'll be taking down my deviations and clearing my DA page, therefore, I won't be submitting anything, writing anymore entries, commenting on anything, watching anyone, faving anything, or any of that. Because of this, it's totally understandable if you don't want to watch me anymore. I'll still be watching the people I'm watching right now and I'll still keep the things I've favorited though, just because you guys deserve it. (:

Just to let you know, I'm the same ChiibiChocobo. Just because I don't like anime anymore and games as much as I did before doesn't mean I'm a different person or I've completely changed. I respect the people who like those things because it's what they like. Everyone is different.
